Corrections Policy
When we get it wrong, we fix it and say so.
Our commitment
Accuracy is the product. A sports publication that gets scores, injuries, or quotes wrong is worthless, so errors are treated as urgent. We correct verified factual errors promptly, transparently, and at the point of the error, not buried in a later piece.

How we correct
- Material corrections carry a dated note at the point of error explaining what was wrong and what the corrected version says, plus an entry in the public log below. These are wrong or significantly misleading claims: a reversed record claim, a misattributed injury, a wrong final score.
- Minor factual corrections get a short dated note and timestamp at the point of error, plus a log entry too. A single stat, a misspelled name, a wrong date or detail: small enough not to change the story, factual enough to matter.
- Data-feed errors (scores, odds, schedules drawn from primary data feeds) are verified and corrected by the editorial desk within the next scheduled data refresh. A wrong figure that stood for a meaningful length of time is escalated to a dated note and log entry.
- Typographical fixes (typos, formatting, broken links) are fixed without a note.
- Factual corrections are never made silently. The original error is not scrubbed from the record without a note. Typographical fixes are the only exception.
- Opinion we stand behind is not corrected just because it is unpopular. Disagreement with a take is not a factual error; the case for or against belongs in the conversation, and we read it.
